November 18th, 2009

Barlow Lyde & Gilbert, which is a leader in commercial litigation and dispute resolution,

has acquired new office space in Manchester. The firm is going to have its new address in Manchester city centre, inside the 14 storied Chancery Place building. The entire building has 8,000 sq ft of office space and is one of the most impressive buildings in the area. BLG has entered into a lease for the desk space for an unspecified amount.

The law firm is renowned for providing an extensive range of legal services from dispute resolution to insurance and reinsurance. It plans to use its new office space for providing its core service of handling different kinds of liability disputes and cases. Chancery Place is located near the courts and this will help the firm to offer its litigation services in a better manner.

The entire operations in the new office will be run by Robert Muttock and Mark Hamsted with the help of a dedicated team of secretaries and assistants. Both Muttock and Hamsted are assets to the firm and have fought many successful cases involving claims on behalf of insurers and public sector agencies.

Robert Muttock, while speaking about the office space acquisition, said that being a leading law firm with good track record in commercial and insurance litigation, BLG is sure to profit from the new acquisition. He added that the firm will gain significant coverage while running its operations from the Manchester city centre, and therefore will be able to offer its services to clients in a better manner.
